Chris Weaver is the former state Teacher of the Year and outstanding alumni of Northwestern University. She served as a principal of a high school and an innovative Career Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. In recent years, Chris had the distinction of serving Republican and Democratic governors as the CEO/Executive Director of the state Workforce Commission. Chris is a nationally recognized expert in career preparation and workforce development. She spearheaded the School to Career movement in her home state and was adviser for programs throughout the U.S. A former vocational educator, Chris is renowned for her passion serving adults and young students who are underserved. She established industry based certifications that have become a national model. Ms. Weaver is a certified Emergenetics presenter serving school and business clients of ERI, Inc.
